This is the latest reaction we got from ANIMAL.
It is clear that ANIMAL is getting nowhere with the local authorities here.
We cannot expect any lever on the situation from a distant place like Porto.
It seems that the dog field has been visited by police alone, no veterinarian was involved.

Hello José,

Remember when I told you that the captain was really sensitive to the matter? So, he told us to send a fax to the captain responsible for that area, and we send it Friday. We have sent faxes to dozens of places, we called everywhere and everyone and we told them that you were going to call the media and they got scarred , but until know nobody answers me the phone. I have called several times to talk to the captain, but he was never there, so I left messages. We are getting real mad with this and we have no way to go to Algarve. We are going to try until we have no voice, but please try to contact the media. Really! Contact the TV stations. This is really serious. They are making fun of that poor animals.

Sorry for all this but we are doing everything we can do. Our next step is to send a fax to the Minister of the Internal Affairs (I don¹t know how to translate).
